This holiday is based just to the east of Portmadog from 28th July to the 1st Aug and though it is based around those with caravans using the Caravan Club site Coed-y-Llwyn (eight pitches are booked and we can book it for you if you give us your club number) we are using a nearbye hotel for those without caravans at Maentwrog which is The Oakeley Arms http://www.oakeleyarms.co.uk/ All abilities caterered for and the hire of materials for the week is possible. It is adviseable to take a flask as not all the venues have facilities, for those at the hotel they will fill this for you. For your own comfort I would recommend you arrive at the hotel on the 27th July so you will be refreshed for a prompt 9am start on the Mon The Caravan Club Site is booked from the Sunday to the Saturday to enable relaxed setting up and packing up.

| Mon 28th July | Portmeirion | This is one for those of a certain age (and I must admit I am one of them) that remembers The Prisoner. Lots of interesting colours and tone. |
| Tues 29th July | Snowdon | We cannot come home without tackling Snowdon, its ok, we are not going to climb it!!! we are going to paint it from Capel Curig |
| Wed 30th July | Llanberis Pass | I think this is one of the better views in Wales and one great challenge to the artist in us. |
| Thurs 31st July | Barmouth | Now a trip to the seaside and maybe an ice cream cone, lets hope the weather is hot enough for it. We will be painting from the bridge that spans the harbour mouth from the Barmouth end |
| Fr 1st Aug | The remote bridge | I don't know anything about this bridge other than it is miles from nowhere and you tend to think 'why would anybody put it here'. But very interesting. |
